Award Criteria & Nomination Forms

 

Objective:

To recognize Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services alumni who have brought honor to Utah State University and the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services through outstanding service and achievements.


Criteria:

Selection is based on national or international recognition for his/her service or achievements. The positive impact of his/her contributions should be made clear in the letters of support.


Eligibility:

Alumni Achievement Award

Any person who has an undergraduate or graduate degree from the Utah State University Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services is eligible to be nominated for this award.

Outstanding Recent Graduate

Any person who has an undergraduate or graduate degree from the Utah State University Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services and has graduated within the previous five years is eligible to be nominated for this award.

Outstanding Young Professional Award

Any person who has an undergraduate or graduate degree from the Utah State University Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services who is 38 years of age or younger in the year in which the award is given is eligible to be nominated for this award.

Outstanding Alumni K-12 Teacher Award

Any person who has an undergraduate or graduate teaching degree from the Utah State University Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services, is currently a practicing K-12 school teacher, and has a minimum of five years experience as a practicing K-12 teacher is eligible to be nominated for this award.

Outstanding Alumni Administrator Award

Any person who has an Administrative/Supervisory Certificate from the Utah State University Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services, is currently a practicing K-12 school administrator, and has a minimum of five years experience as a practicing K-12 administrator is eligible to be nominated for this award.
