We are excited about the Internet and the learning resources it can provide to students; however, we want to make it as safe as possible for all students. Please discuss the following guidelines with your child, sign the Parent/Guardian Agreement, and have your child sign the Student Agreement. Then, return the signed form to the office.
Students will be allowed to use the Internet after this form is returned, and after they have been instructed on using the Internet safely. We look forward to some great learning experiences on the Information Superhighway. Students who do not follow these guidelines will lose their Internet access privileges.
As the parent or guardian of _________________________________, I have read the Edith Bowen Internet Acceptable Use Policy. I understand that this access is designed for educational purposes. I recognize it is impossible for EBLS to restrict access to all controversial materials and I will not hold them responsible for materials acquired on the network. Further, I accept full responsibility for supervision if and when my child's use is not in a school setting. I hereby give permission for my child to use the Internet in the school setting.
